Real Camouflage

I camouflaged my final product with some trees which i felt blended well with my final, even though it was on hair extensions. i think that the way it printed out made it have more of a drak green look to it.

Package

This is my final camouflage printed out and stuck onto the packaging of hair extensions. i printed out a few copies of the camouflage and cut it into several pieces so it would cover up the whole package. i also found the logo for the original package and put it onto my camouflage to make it look more authentic. i really liked my final product because i think that it looks very original, however i am not happy with the way that the camouflage printed out, it looks very dark and you can't see much of the different colours and patterns the way that it can be seen on the computer.

This is my final camouflage that i created using photoshop, i copy and pasted several copies of the pictures and created a great camouflage which shows something i am passionate about in a discrete way. i really like my final design i think that when i put in onto the hair extension packet it will look really authentic and as if it was a real packaging.

My Images

These are the five images that i took of my hair extensions using my camera. I put the hair in distorted shapes so that i could create my camouflage using these five images.I picked five of my favourite extensions all of different sizes and colours so that they could stand out when i put them all together. The images look a little bit fuzzy around the outline because i using the wand tool on photoshop to cut around them so that i can use the free transform tool easily.

My Camouflage

I am going to be making a camouflage of hair extensions. I picked hair extensions because it is something which i think really expresses myself well. I have always been interested in hair dressing and different hair styles, i even took a hairdressing course for two years and achieved a diploma in level 2. through the years i have grown to from using synthetic hair to human hair and also going from little girl extensions from claires accessories to proper beauty shops. I am going to be picking five different pieces of hairs which i can create my own design from. i am going to photograph the pieces of extensions and then scan them into the pc and create a design on illustrator. The next step i am going to do is print out my design and stick it onto a hair extension packet to make it look as if it is part of the packaging.

What is a Camouflage?

A camouflage is a something which is made up from loads of different colours or shapes to make one big image. A camouflage can also be described as something which is hidden for example there are many hidden messages in some certain images for example it can be known as subliminal messages. Another way to describe a camouflage is something which blends in with a background or object.
